Established in 2019, the Cape Catfish play their home games on beautiful Capaha Field in downtown Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  In their first season the Catfish won the West Division Championship. Following covid, in just their second season in the league in 2021, they won the Prospect League Championship. 

The Catfish play in the Prospect League, a collegiate wood bat summer league that boasts 18 franchises and is in it's 60th season in 2023.
